Is Future Studies a divination?

When my friends hear that I'm taking Future Studies course, first thing they ask is "is it a divination?"
No, Futurology is not a divination. Future studies is a study of the future we would like to have. is a future we see in our dreams. Futurology forecast and calculate that kind of future. Calculate.
* What we want in the future?
* How should we reach it?
* Did we have something similar in the past?
* What we did with it?
* What will happen after we get it?
* How to avoid the problems

Oh. Yesterday I got my diploma in Future studies :-)

Social Innovation Camp Caucasus

The Social Innovation Camp(SICamp) is over. We, 13 participants from Azerbaijan, came back. Hope that projects organized at that camp will continue working.
But what the SICamp is?
SICamp is one kind of Barcamp (unconference) format. Why Barcamp is unconference? it doesn't has some strict rules that the conference has. On Barcamp people often shares information. no profit. just share what you know. and make new communications.
The SICamp has a few differences. one of them is, Barcamp has no result. only sharing the information. The goal of SICamp is to have ready functioning projects at the end of the event. and after 2 international SICamps we can surely say that it is POSSIBLE to do a project in 2-3 days.
The winners of SICampC became "Save the Trees" and "Give me Info"

How thistle became a symbol of Scotland.

After landing on the shores of Scotland, the Danes were subjected to fire, looting and
killing the local population. Once, during a fog, they decided
to attack the Scottish army. But one of the Danes came to Thistle barefoot
and howled with pain. The Scots, hearing a scream, woke up and drove
Danes back, who have since then dared not to attack. Subsequently, the thistle became the symbol of Scotland.

Washing of Lions in the Tower

In 1860 the London aristocracy sent invitations to "the annual ceremony of washing the white lions", which will be held in the Tower at 11 o'clock in the morning.
